The event was launched by the IHT's President Alan Craig who welcomed everyone, and delivered a keynote address entitled "Excellence in the Environment of Transport".
"....Nothing ever remains the same for long, and yet it does remain a natural reaction of those who are having change impressed upon them to see change as a threat. As always in every thing we do and in things I have been saying all year, effective communication is the key. Creating an understanding of the change, helping people think clearly about business practices and connections between service areas, does help you manage change and get the most out of it."
